Damn I paid a lot more for it but it was still worth it.

Choppy Chops I've got a book you will absolutely fucking LOVE!

I'm only a few pages in and all I can think of is how this book was written for you. It's all about old school weight training. The type strongmen used. I highly highly recommend you buy it.

My brain isn't working yet I can't put this book down. It's just so damn interesting, might have convinced me to add a bit of weight training into my routine. None of that Barbell shit, just ain't my cuppa tea. Definitely might invest in some heavy sandbags though.

Finished "The Naked Warrior" it's a reasonably short read but well worth it. Jotted down a few pointers from it but it's definitely going on my list for a 3rd read in the distant future. It's packed solid from cover to cover.

Starting "Beyond Bodybuilding" now another book by Pavel. Recommended by Paul Wade so hopefully it's a good book. Cover is a bit strange...

I really can't hack weight lifting books with the same enthusiasm I do Calisthenics books. Dinosaur training was great and so is BB but I get so sick of keep reading "170x4-1, 150x1-1, 1 rep max, load the bar, dumbbell, lift, 90%" Going to have to get a serious Bodyweight book next.

Finished Beyond Bodybuilding. Got absolutely glued to it this weekend, it's got some great shit in it which I've transferred to my scrapbook. Definitely going to read it again at some point just a shame it's so heavy on all the weight training stuff. Haw haw haw haw.

My new book "Dynamic Stretching and Kicking" by Bill "Superfoot" Wallace arrived. Finally found a more extensive book on Active Stretching other than the small chapter in "Pure and Applied Gymnastics."

Call of Cthulhu is far from his best story. Have you read the Shadow over Innsmouth?

Been re-reading Never Gymless, the second book I ever read on Bodyweight training. I severely underestimated it the first time it's a fucking gold mine of exercises and general knowledge.

Also ordered a few more books now it's pay day. Found out the writer of Dinosaur Training has done a book on bodyweight training. I nearly came.

Got this book through today. Martial arts are such a glorious resource when it comes to knowledge about bodyweight exercise and other ways of mastering the body. After all it's pretty much all they do.

It's a good book so far. I thought the fighting combo's where a bit so-so until it got to the ones that are illegal for competition. Some of them are fucking nasty and I might start practicing a few of the good ones.

Finished it. Was a good book but far too light on the training aspects in my opinion although I did manage to uncover some ingenious exercises I would never of thought of. Got a good few books coming in the post now. I hope Bronson's book is good.

Got 5 new books comes through in the post. Charles's book was first so I started. He's actually quite funny for a maniac and it's the first book I've read that insults you if you're out of shape or unfit. Still he seems to know his stuff so far. Can see myself flying through this one.

Hmm I bet all you could do is:
Raise blood pessure (caffeine, creatine, NOx shit and thrusting), wear a dick ring(trap blood even further), wear thermal socks(prevent thermal regulation drawing blood away) and take viagra.

Maybe some adrenaline as well, so do it while skydiving.

Anyone here care to try this?

Finished Solitary Fitness. Book had me gripped with his damn insanity. Still a great read overall I don't know if I would recommend to people. It's pretty much just isometrics then a load of useful fitness knowledge compiled into a messy format. Still nicked some great stuff from it.

I'm now reading "Wrestling Physical Conditioning Encyclopedia" it's a book from the 70's covering a few topics mainly conditioning. It reminds me a lot of the book from the 60's "Pure and Applied Gymnastics." It's and interesting read especially because he writer is incredibly enthuastic about the benefits of weight training and it's a nice change of pace and always good to learn about all aspects of resistance training.
