Songs you had/have stuck in your head

Post by GrinningManiac on Thu Oct 14, 2010 7:08 pm

What songs have you had (or still have) in your head for absoloutely AGES?

I had this awesome song from the Prince of Egypt in my head for about 3 weeks, and I listened to it every day because my brain told me it WANTED to hear it again

It's pretty cool, though. But now I can hear all the secondary vocals you wouldn't hear the first time around (the chanting of "Thus Saith the Lord" at the start covers a much deeper "Since you refused to free my people/all through the land of egypt"

Everything off of Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, I've had it for a few weeks and have racked up something like 300 plays of the songs.

I've had Iris by Goo Goo Dolls stuck in my head for 3 days. I can't wait to get drunk and sing that really loudly on Saturday.

I've spent the last 3 days mixing a Mary Cochlan song (Aging Irish soft blues singer), for my course, and it's stuck in my head like a fucking harpoon.

I'm seriously considering dropping all the instruments other than the bass and drums and making a dub version. Just for a bit of variety.

For the past few days I had some Andrew W.K. stuck in my head.

J-Pop also tends to get stuck in my head easily as well. Play something enough times and I'm sure to begin singing it if I find the beat catchy.

I've had some songs stuck in my head for quite a while.
Most notably is Ran Ran Ran Dayo which always plays in my head when there's silence or I think of memories:

Others include this catchy son of a bitch:

Little different, you don't take the bits of numbers and letters at the end of the URL, like 5EH5GFP2Otk or whatever, you take the whole line, such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EH5GFP2Otk , then wrap it in the {youtube} things.
