@Furb: I FUCKING KNEW THAT SHOW WASN'T ORIGINAL.

And it's a shitty fucken show. It's no good. It's probably nothing like your show, because the entire format is just "Let's take these famous Swedish comedians and put them in situations that are similar to their style of comedy."

That was a great idea in the 90s. Now it's outdated.

Now to remind everyone was Swedish humour is about

And I love how unrealistic Miller's Crossing is. Not the plot, but the dialogue.

WHO TALKS LIKE THAT?

Just watched Die Hard for the first time. It was very good and the odd comedic line was very refreshing. An all round great action film, also nice to be a bit lght hearted get a bit sick of the constant seriousness of stuff like the batman trilogy.

Yeah RLM's film it was excellent.

Also it was the sequel to D13 and I was surprised at how well they handled it. Considering I was expecting your classic piece o shit sequel that just rips off the first film.

First Blood I was very surprised at. Although I imagine Rambo 2 & 3 are just going to be fucking ridiculous blood fests which I eagerly await.

First Blood 2 was glorious. Rambo 4 totally ripped from it and instead of having a hilarious Gunship battle it's just a tired old man grunting on a machine gun for half an hour as an ending.

Rambo 3 was absolutely hilarious. I loved it. Think it might actually be the best one. Especially the anti-soviet crap, why would any army make mines in the shape of toys?

Also the line "God would show mercy" just made the film. I love how it went from the first one to that line.

Go watch Stephen Seagal's Under Siege Joey.

Die Hard on a boat with over the top Tommy Lee Jones.
It even has Gary Busey in drag.

That actually comes from a misconception. The soviets dropped loads of these mines over Afghanistan and Afghani children often mistook them for toys.

They're designed to be aerodynamic and visible while dropping, you see. But the Americans got the idea that the Soviets were actually making mines shaped like toys, and it went from there.

There's also a layer of irony in watching it these days while America is raping the same country it spent the whole film bigging up.

Yup. I heard Robert Downy Jnr brought the rights to the IP of the "memory implant" episode of season 1.

This season has been so good.

The first one reminded me of a techy version of Ghost and saying anything about the second would ruin the whole thing.

Great actors as well, Hayley Atwell and Domhaill (Son of Brendan) Gleeson were great in the first one, and the guy who plays Tyres from Spaced was amazing in the second.

I wouldn't mind a Black Mirror every year, if they can keep up the level of quality. The 3rd episode sounds great based on description alone.

I agree with this. I think it's a serial that is limited to the ideas though. Most other series only need a single plot point to carry a few episodes, Black Mirror condenses what could be a season of television into one well strung episode.

I mean this is even proved by the fact people are buying the rights to remake and readjust for vaster projects, such as the RDJ thing I mentioned earlier.
