Some pretty notable ones I've missed though. The Exorcist and Blair Witch among them.

Blair Witch gave me a panic attack when I was 11 years old. I hired it without Mum knowing and watched it when it got dark. I had a tele in my room. I ran out and collapsed on the floor and she banned me from watching it. I ended up watching the rest the next morning.

Texas Chainsaw, Videodrome, Hard Candy, Exorcist and Session 9 are worth a watch. The rest I haven't heard seen, besides the ones that are already crossed out.

I'll get around to them. Next on the agenda are Marebito, Repulsion, The Fly, The Forbidden Door, The Sentinel (77 version), The Signal and The Tenant.

Get on Blair Witch Project and The Host.
The Host isn't scary but it's still pretty good.

I always found Session 9 kinda disappointing. It's alright, but I thought they could do a bit more with the film. Doesn't stop it being crazy tense though.

Anything really good you've seen in this horror romp Milky?

Not massively terrifying but I enjoyed it anyway.

@Milky: The fly is one of the few horrors I've enjoyed, along with the ones you've shown me.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some really good tension heavy horrors? The ones that keep you on the edge of your seat, guessing but never coming to the correct conclusions.

My favourite kind. The Thing is my favourite for exactly that reason, but I know you've seen it. Several times. With me.

I can't think of anything right now, it's an unfortunately rare type of movie. Check out The Cube though, I reckon you'd dig that.

Ha yeah I've actually seen The Cube and enjoyed it a lot. Forgot about it until you reminded me, will rewatch!
Also by the way have the Japanese Ju On, didn't mind that either....
Is
Noroi any good? The japanese seem to do well with this genre, despite
my distaste for gore. Me and horror, we've seen the day... Very Happy

Milks, I watched Noroi. Damn it was a fine piece of horror. So spooky! I went on IMDb message boards afterwards and a lot of people bitched about the ending not being finished off. Personally, I loved that it was left to the imagination. I assumed everyone died. Then more people died. Freaked me out nice and good.

Noroi is top quality, loved the ending. Definitely the best that I've seen of those documentary style horror movies.

Just watched The Signal, weird as hell. Randomly turned into comedy in the second section of the movie, but it was good comedy. Did a good job of portraying insanity. Patchy but good film.

My favourite bit in Hobo With A Shotgun -spoilers- was near the end when the fight with the robot was going on and the main villian said "You're nothing but a dirty, filthy, worthless PIECE OF SHIT" or something similar. The way he said it had me roaring with laughter.
