I don't remember anything about this show. Other than the fact it was about pigeons & boys.

Also, upon review, it had fucking ugly art.

Fucking hell.

They used to show that show about a pigeon superhero on abcTV.

It was like Postman Pat, in that every character was a twit, it was painful to look at, nothing happened and you were left tired and unfulfilled. Also I was too old to have an excuse to watch it.

I think I was spoiled as a child with Catdog, Angry Beavers and Ren and Stimpy.

what have kids got nowdays? Fucking nothing that's what. Does playschool even exist anymore?

Playschool is an unstoppable force of nature, you know that. Like Sesame Street.

My brother likes to put on Total Drama Island & some equally horrible flash show about surfing in the mornings.
It's disgusting.

Yeah I'm Australian.

I saw an ad for that surfing show. It seems like another one of those kids shows that isn't designed to be entertaining.

We had fucking 'Around the Twist'. They have reality shows for kids now, awful. Put me off my cereal.

Real Monsters.

Was trying to describe the show to some colleagues the other day while we were reminiscing but couldn't remember the name. There was also that show where A Rat wearing a leather jacket, an intellectually disabled Dingo and a Cat (puppets) all bickered, now they have the cat doing some pet show. Depressing.

It was called The Ferals. Christ I haven't seen that show in years. There was also a rabbit.

Round the Twist was great. Did you guys read Paul Jennings books?

Also, that show Simon's Toybox or something. With the talking blue hexagon accordion with a face & that pink elephant? And that other show with the ragdoll & the green alien, something like Creepy Crawlies.
Fuck, this shit is ancient.

And I'm pretty sure those last two names are wrong.

Paul Jennings was great.

^Memories right there. I hated this show, so boring, yet I watched it every time.

There was also a 5 minute show called "Freaky" or something similar. "True story. It happened to a friend of a friend of mine".

Oh, oh wow. I remember those.

I only ever saw one episode of Trapdoor, the one where he made scrambled eggs. Only ever got that one because the library at my dad's university had it.

Freaky was weird. I can't remember ever watching an episode that didn't have a disturbing vibe, it was great.
There was one-off short ABC used to show that always stood out, about a toy nutcracker soldier that tries to get the princess doll & ends up falling into the gutter & going through the sewers eventually winding up in a furnace where he burns to death while he watches the princess dance.

That always got to me. It was very nice but felt like it carried very dark undertones.

Holy crap, I remember this. I have ten minutes before I need to sleep or else I won't get up for work, I'll dedicate it to finding this.

I remember an episode of Freaky where a guy sleeps in a motel and his mattress has a nice vibrate function he can;t turn off. The mattress is full of roaches. That one, and the one where a serial killer licks the girls foot and she thinks its her dog (but really her dogs been killed.) , are the only ones I remember.

Rocko's Modern Life, Beast Wars, etc.
This is too much nostalgia.

Cheese TV was incredible.

Agreed.

Also, Mitchell got a letter featured on there. And a drawing.

I tried my best. Alas.

I'm jealous of your cheeseTV experience. I assumed as a child that it was impossible to get anything on the show and it was all lies. I wasted my time on a trampoline and throwing guavas at my friends.

That started out as an old urban legend. I always thought it was cool growing up and now I think paedo.

On topic, did anyone else watch Grizzly Tales For Gruesome Kids. The intro to that show always gave me the chills.

That's very true. Chocolate and watching cartoons are two that spring to mind. I wonder what a stoned five year old would be like? Probably just watch a double bill of Rastamouse and eat twice as much chocolate....

Can't imagine a child stoned. Definitely think weed is more of an "adult" mind thing.

Can imagine a child drunk though. Violently hitting his favourite toy and throwing up in his bed.

Being stoned is kind of like being a child. You're not worried about anything, you giggle mindlessly, you eat sweets and watch cartoons.

The first time can be a bit mad, over time you get more comfortable with it and go with the flow rather than going "OH WOOOOOOOW" all the time.
